December Bulky Waste Pickup Week: Monday Zone_copy

Pick up of bulky waste in the Village's single-family residential neighborhoods occurs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of the second full week of every month. Crews hired by Choice Environmental Services, the Village's solid waste/recycling contractor, visit a specific section of single-family and duplex homes each day. Choice has divided the residential area of the Village into Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4.

NOTE: The 2012 version of this map will be sent out to residents with the solid waste bill in late January 2012.

Please consult the Solid Waste and Recycling web page to know what items can be disposed of in your pile, and when you or your gardener may place the pile on the swale or curb.

Monday, November 5, 2012 - (Green Zone on color-coded pick-up map): Bulky waste will be picked up from West McIntyre Street to West Mashta Drive and from Fernwood Road to Harbor Drive.

Other zones:

• Tuesday, November 6, 2012 (Blue Zone on color-coded pick-up map): Bulky waste will be picked up in the triangular area bordered by Harbor Drive - Fernwood Road - West McIntyre Street, as well as in the Holiday Colony area  on the east side of Crandon Boulevard.
• Thursday, November 8, 2012 (Pink Zone on color-coded pick-up map): Bulky waste will be picked south of West Mashta Drive in the Cape Florida area and on Mashta Island.
• Friday, November 9, 2012 (Yellow Zone on color-coded pick-up map): Bulky waste will be picked up from West Heather Drive to West McIntyre Street and from Fernwood Road to Harbor Point Drive.
