The Miami-Dade County Elections Department is in charge of registering voters, printing ballots, providing voting equipment and monitors, and tallying voting results.

  • How to Register to Vote/Check Your Registration

    Please visit the Miami-Dade County Elections How to Register webpage to check if you are registered and for instructions on how to register in person or obtain an online Voter Registration Form.

  • IMPORTANT: Registration closes 29 days prior to an upcoming election (Book Closing date).  In order to be eligible to vote, your Voter Application must be received as follows:
    • Go in person to the Elections Department or any other official agency no later than the book closing date.
    • Have it mailed and postmarked no later than the book closing date.
  • Visit the Voter Toolkit page to print out a list of tips to take with you to the polling location. Precincts are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
