Curbside Recycling Provided by the Village

Miami-Dade County Recycling Rules for Multi-family and Commercial Properties

 

Programs at Village Buildings or Sponsored by the Village

  • Household Battery/Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) recycling program: Residents can safely dispose of and recycle their batteries and CFLs by bringing these items to the Public Works Division Office in Suite 230 of Village Hall. This program is available year-round with drop-off during business hours.

  • Village employees and maintenance staff in Village Hall, the Community Center and the Fire Station recycle
    • paper, cans, bottles and plastics

    • fluorescent lamps from ceiling lamps and other fixtures
  • "Serve yourself" hot and cold filtered water dispensers in various Village departments replaced bottled water purchases and reduce waste. Employees are encouraged to bring reusable beverage containers.

  • The use of styrofoam cups, plates, etc. has been discontinued in Village buildings and at Village-sponsored events.
