The Village of Key Biscayne Police Department will continue to strictly enforce the ordinance that prohibits dogs on the beach. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Note: Please be advised that Dog Beach referenced in this Advisory is in Virginia Key on the south side of the Rickenbacker Causeway between the William Powell Bridge and Miami Seaquarium. The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) identifies the beach water sampling station as Dog Beach (Key Biscayne). Follow this link to the FDOH webpage showing beach

May is National Bike Safety Month. Key Biscayne Police are conducting the "No Helmet, No Bike" initiative as part of their commitment to keeping our children safe. According to Officer Vicki Hernandez, officers will randomly stop children who are riding bikes. Kids wearing helmets will get a token of appreciation such as a gift card for a small amount. Kids
