Hurricane Dorian Alert #9: Sand Still Available at Beach Park MUST BRING YOUR OWN BAGS

Posted: Friday, August 30, 2019 11:00 am

Sand is still available at the Beach Park but you MUST bring your own bags.

Be prepared to do-it-yourself as we have limited Village staff available, we strongly suggest a driver and a passenger per vehicle. The passenger must get out of the vehicle to obtain the sand with their own bags in-had to fill.

We ask you take 5 bags per home on the honor system so others can have sand as well.

Golf carts preferred. To expedite traffic flow, use East Enid Drive to enter the parking lot and exit down Galen Drive and Sunrise Drive.

Map below shows recommended route to pick up and leave sandbag staging area at the Village Beach Park. North is at the top and the Beach Park is to the east (right side of map).

Please continue to closely monitor the National Hurricane Center website for the latest storm updates.
