Bear Cut Bridge Westbound Permanent Detour Markings – December 11 &12, 2012(Tuesday & Wednesday)
The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department will be performing pavement roadway markings and sign installation along the westbound Crandon Boulevard Roadway and Bear Cut Bridge along the Rickenbacker Causeway.
The work will take place on the roadway from the Crandon Park north beach entrance (parking lot # 1 & 2 nature center entrance), westbound north side vehicle travel lane closest to the dedicated bike lane ending at the east end of the Bear Cut Bridge. The work will be phased out over two days starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, December 11 and Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
One vehicle travel lane will remain open at all times and the area will be opened up to vehicular traffic at the end of each day. The timing of the work is being scheduled to avoid the rush hour periods; however, motorists may experience traffic delays.

William Powell Bridge Expansion Joint Maintenance – December 18 & 19, 2012 (Tuesday & Wednesday)
The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department will be performing maintenance repairs to a bridge armor joint, on the William Powell Bridge along the Rickenbacker Causeway.
The work will take place on the bridge roadway just west of the apex of the bridge, on the eastbound inside vehicle travel lane furthest from the dedicated bike lane. The repair will be phased out over two days starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
