Residents are advised of the upcoming ING Miami Marathon 2013 to be held throughout Miami-Dade County and along the Rickenbacker and Venetian Causeways on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Organizers expect 10,000 participants for the full marathon and 15,000 participants for the half-marathon.
Delays and detours are expected as runners proceed along the Rickenbacker Causeway between the Toll Booth to the William Powell Bridge from 7:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Additional traffic impacts may be encountered before 7:00 a.m. and after 12:15 p.m. as organizers set up and break down the course.
Residents are advised that the runner turn-around is underneath the Powell Bridge; the race course does not extend past the Powell Bridge. Traffic across the Bear Cut Bridge will not be affected.

Rickenbacker Causeway runner time Information:
The Rickenbacker Causeway portion will have runners enter the toll facility travel easterly along the south side of the causeway, turn under the William Powell Bridge utilizing the turn-around Lane, then travel westerly leaving the Causeway along the north side of the toll facility, and take place from 7:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (current estimated time frame) on Sunday, January 27, 2013.
