Swimming Alert: DOH Advisory for Crandon Park South Beach & KB Beach Club Issued Sept. 6, 2018; Crandon North Advisory Lifted

The Florida Department of Health - Miami-Dade Office issued a swimming advisory for Crandon Park South Beach and Key Biscayne Beach Club in the late afternoon of September 6, 2018. The August 28th advisory for Crandon Park North Beach was lifted on September 6th.

The advisory recommends not swimming at Crandon South Beach and KB Beach Club at this time due to water samples not meeting the recreational standard for enterococci. Miami-Dade FDOH will repeatedly test the ocean water at these two sites and lift the advisory once successive samples are found acceptable in lab testing.
