Traffic Alert: County Tree Trimming Along Crandon Boulevard (Bear Cut Bridge to Calusa Park) from September 25-27, 2018

The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department (PROS) will be performing tree trimming services along the Crandon Boulevard on the below listed dates.


  • September 25, 2018 (Tuesday) – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • September 26, 2018 (Wednesday) – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • September 27, 2018 (Thursday) – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Work will take place between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  During the maintenance activities, sections of the eastbound inner vehicular travel lane, closest to the dedicated bike lane, may be closed, beginning east of the Bear Cut Bridge to the Calusa Park circle.  However, one vehicular travel lane and cycling lane will remain open at all times.


Motorists may experience traffic delays and should factor in additional travel time.
