TS Gordon Update #3: Tropical Storm Warning in Effect, High Tide at 4:15pm May Amplify Local Flooding

Posted: Monday, September 3, 2018 3:20 pm

Key Biscayne remains under a Tropical Storm Warning as TS Gordon moves in a WNW further into the Gulf of Mexico. Rainfall, sporadic thunderstorms and local flooding threats continue.

High tide is at 4:15 p.m. and may amplify local flooding by impeding drainage. Exercise caution and do not drive through flooded areas. Your vehicles could stall and sustain water damage.

FPL is reporting a limited number of customers affected by power outages. If you lose power, report the outage to FPL at 1-800-4-OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243) or online at https://www.fpl.com/my-account/web-outage.html#wors/mainTab/phoneTab.
