Crews from SFM Landscaping Services will be performing tree trimming services starting on Monday, July 16, 2018. Allowed hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The initial segment will be all blocks in the perimeter of the Key Biscayne K-8 Center and will take approximately 2-3 weeks for completion. Recycling will not be picked up on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, due to the holiday. This affects single-family homes and duplexes serviced by the Village's solid waste and recycling contract with Waste Management. Trash pickup will resume on Thursday, July 5 and recycling pickup resumes on Wednesday, July 11.

The law enforcement situation near the Rickenbacker Causeway Toll Plaza has been successfully resolved. Inbound Rickenbacker Causeway traffic lanes through the plaza will be open within an hour. In the meantime, inbound access will be via limited lanes with expected delays.
