Electric power at the Community Center has been restored. The Community Center and FreeBee Ride Service will resume scheduled holiday hours of operation. Island Electric and FPL crews were on site immediately and worked diligently throughout the afternoon and evening to restore power. The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) is working at the intersection of Buttonwood Drive and Woodcrest Road. Crews are unclogging a critical sanitary sewer main. A sewer leak at 285 Glenridge Road has been reported to Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department (WASD). Crews are en route. Residents are asked to avoid driving through the area.
