The Hurricane/Flood pages at the Village website have been updated for the 2013 Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season. The season begins June 1 and ends November 30.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has released an update on the potential of additional heavy rainfall and flooding for Tuesday, May 21, as follows:

Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department (WASD) will be performing ongoing sewer line maintenance throughout the Village until further notice. This project involves videoing sewer pipelines in the Village. It also consists of cleaning and vacuuming sewer manholes.

Construction on a Streetscape Improvement Project along Sonesta Drive by the Oceana developers began on Monday, May 13, 2013. The Village has approved a Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan for the work.
