Kiteboarding Registration & Rules

 

Kiteboarding registration is effective within the Village of Key Biscayne as of May 14, 2018.  All persons wishing to kiteboard within the Village are required to first register with the Village.

The following steps are required to register:

 

  1. Complete a Kiteboarding Annual Registration form available here.
  2. Read and sign the Kiteboarding Rules available here.
  3. Provide a copy of driver’s license or government issued photo identification.
  4. Provide a copy of the Level 3 International Kite Organization Certificate.
  5. Provide proof of $1,000,000.00 liability insurance policy covering bodily injury, property damage, medical and dental coverage, and listing the Village of Key Biscayne as certificate holder.
  6. Pay an annual fee of $250.00.

Registrations are accepted only in person during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at:

 

            Building, Zoning and Planning Department

            Village Hall

    88 McIntyre Street, Suite 250

            Key Biscayne, FL  33149
