Special Event Permits

A Special Event Permit is required for any event that takes place on public or private property.

The Special Event Permit Application/Fee Sheet Package (PDF) must be completed and submitted not less than twenty (20) days in advance of the event. As of May 1, 2017, included in the package with the application and Affidavit Form is an updated Fire Watch-Outdoor Regulations Permit Application. The permit is processed by staff in the Building, Zoning, Planning and Public Works Department, and reviewed by Fire Rescue Department and other staff as needed depending on the type of event.

A Special Event may not be held unless it has been approved by the Village Manager pursuant to the procedures set forth in the application.

Film Permits are processed by staff in the Office of the Village Manager after completion of a Film Permit Application packet (PDF).
