NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE


The Village of Key Biscayne will receive sealed proposals until 12:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Village Clerk’s office, Village of Key Biscayne Village Hall, 88 W. McIntyre Street, Suite 220, Key Biscayne, Florida 33149, at which time the will be opened publicly for the following project:


REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 2018-04-24
MUNICIPAL COMPLEX HOLIDAY DECORATIONS


The services being requested are to provide a holiday tree and décor as identified herein in as well as additional themed holiday décor elements the recommends adding to achieve a top-quality design. The Vendor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to deliver, install, clean/refurbish, remove and transport all decorations to storage.


Interested bidders may obtain a copy of the Bid Documents through the Onvia DemandStar portal or via the Village website (see below). Project manuals/plan will not be mailed, shipped or available online.

 

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Village of Key Biscayne, Village Clerk’s Office (Suite 220) at 11:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Attendance at this conference is mandatory in order to submit a proposal in response to this Bid and for the project.

All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of this RFP and the Specifications. If, however, the Village Manager deems it to be in the best interest of the Village of Key Biscayne, the Village of Key Biscayne reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and re-advertise the Project, to waive any informalities or minor defects in any bids, and to increase or decrease the quantities shown in the Bid Form. Proposals, which contain irregularities of any kind, may be rejected as informal.

Any or all questions or requests for interpretations or clarifications pertaining to the RFP must be directed via email to Todd Hofferberth, Parks and Recreation Director at thofferberth@keybiscayne.fl.gov by Friday, May 18th, 2018. All notices and any addenda issued by the Village with respect to the Bid will be sent via email to those who register in the Village Clerk’s office. Bidders that obtain a copy of the RFP Documents through the DemandStar are responsible for obtaining all notices and any addenda issued directly from the DemandStar portal.

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS

VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE


The Village of Key Biscayne will receive sealed BIDs until 2:00pm local time, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Village Clerk's office, Village of Key Biscayne, 88 West McIntyre Street, Suite 220, Key Biscayne, FL 33149, at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following project:


BID No. 2018-04-17
Trimming and Pruning Services for Hardwoods (i.e. dicot trees)


The Village of Key Biscayne, Florida (Village) requests BIDs from qualified firms for the Trimming and Pruning Services. The Project consists of trimming and pruning hardwoods located in the Village’s right of ways as per Attachment “A”, Village Tree Inventory.

Interested parties may obtain a full information package (BID Package) through the Onvia DemandStar portal, the Village Website (link to BID package here) or in person from the Village Clerk’s office for a fee of $35.00 per set, payable by cash or check, on or after Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Make checks payable to Village of Key Biscayne. Copies of the BID Package are non-returnable and non-refundable. The Village will not send the package via courier.

All BIDs shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of this BID and the Specifications. The Village of Key Biscayne reserves the right to waive any informality in any BID, and the Village Manager may reject any or all BIDs, and re-advertise the Project.

Any or all questions or requests for interpretations or clarifications pertaining to the BID must be directed via email to Jessica Garcia, Public Works Administrative Assistant at jgarcia@keybiscayne.fl.gov by Monday, May 7, 2018.


All notices and any addenda issued by the Village with respect to the BID will be sent via e-mail to those who purchase a paper copy and register in the Village Clerk’s office. Proposers that obtain a copy of the RFP Documents through DemandStar and the Village Website at www.keybiscayne.fl.gov and are not registered in the Village Clerk’s office, are responsible for obtaining all notices and any addenda directly from the DemandStar portal.


A mandatory pre-BID conference will be held at the Village of Key Biscayne, Village Hall, Building, Zoning and Planning Department, Conference Room (Suite 250) at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018. Attendance at this conference is mandatory in order to submit a price in response to this BID.

McIntyre Street, Suite 220, Key Biscayne, Florida 33149, at which time the will be opened publicly for the following project:

Pool Interior and Deck Resurfacing


The Village of Key Biscayne (the “Village”), a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, hereby requests proposals for the selection of a firm (the “Contractor”) to provide the design, labor, materials, equipment, services and all incidentals necessary, as further defined in Section 2.2 of this request for proposals (“Services”) to resurface the Village’s Key Biscayne Community Center pool and pool deck (the “Project”) located at 10 Village Green Way, Key Biscayne, FL 33149 (“Site”). The information used in this request for proposals (“RFP”) will be used by the Village to make its determination. The Village intends to award a contract to the selected Contractor for the Project provided in this RFP.
The Project must be completed within 21 days, weather permitting. The pool is 25 yards by 6 lanes, and is approximately 23 meters (132,000 gallons). Additionally, the Project includes resurfacing the concrete flooring surrounding the pool, including the terrace and steps, with a textured surface product. The surface area of the pool deck is approximately 6,650 sq. ft. All specifications must be verified by bidder prior to submitting a Response.

Fernwood Road Lighting Improvements, ITB 2018-01-03


The project consists of installing new decorative lighting.

Make checks payable to Village of Key Biscayne. Copies of the Bid Documents are non-returnable and non-refundable. Project manuals/plan will not be mailed, shipped or available online.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Village of Key Biscayne, Village Hall, Building, Zoning and Planning Department, Conference Room (Suite 250) at 2:00pm local time on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018. Attendance at this conference is mandatory in order to submit a proposal in response to this Bid and for the project.

All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of this RFP and the Specifications. The bid will be awarded to the lower responsible responsive bidder. If, however, the Village Manager deems it to be in the best interest of the Village of Key Biscayne, the Village of Key Biscayne reserves the right to reject any and all bids and re-advertise the Project, to waive any informalities or minor defects in any bids, and to increase or decrease the quantities shown in the Bid Form. Bids, which contain irregularities of any kind, may be rejected as informal.
