PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Miami-Dade Transit Authority provides bus, light rail, people mover, and paratransit services.

Metrobus: Bus #102 (Route B) includes the Village as follows:
Government Center Metrorail Station, Downtown (Miami) Bus Terminal, Main Library, Historical Museum of South Florida, Miami Art Museum, Brickell Metrorail Station, Brickell Business District, Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami Seaquarium, Crandon Park, City of Key Biscayne, Cape Florida State Park

Metrorail: The closest access to the County’s light rail system is the Vizcaya Station at 201 SW First Avenue, across US 1 from the Museum of Science. The local Metrobus route stops at the Brickell and Government Center Stations.

Metromover: Many downtown locations from Brickell to Omni are easily accessible via this free automated people mover system accessible via 21 stations. The system connects to Metrorail at the Government Center and Brickell stations.

 

AIRPORTS

 

Miami International Airport (MIA) in Miami-Dade County is conveniently located about 15 miles, or 30 minutes (depending on traffic), from the Village of Key Biscayne.

Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is in Broward County and about 32 miles from the Village.



SEAPORTS


PortMiami, in Miami-Dade County, is visible to the north across Biscayne Bay from the Rickenbacker Causeway.

Port Everglades is located in Broward County in close proximity to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
