Key Biscayne K-8 Center located at 150 W. McIntyre Street, is the only Miami-Dade County Public School District facility on the island. The telephone number is (305) 361-5418. The school serves children in grades Kindergarten through grade 8, and offers paid pre-school and community/adult after school and evening programs.

Coral Gables Senior High School, located at 450 Bird Road in Coral Gables, is the feeder pattern public high school for Key Biscayne. The telephone number is (305) 443-3871.

MAST Academy and Cambridge Academies, located at 3979 Rickenbacker Causeway, are accepting applications for the two programs located on this campus that houses an existing maritime science and technology magnet high school (MAST) and a new Cambridge curriculum program that will eventually serve grades 8-12 by the 2015-16 school year.
