Beach Park Access Cards

The Village of Key Biscayne Beach Park, a residents only facility, requires an access card to enter the park. This policy was initiated in June 2009.

  1. To Obtain a Card: The access cards are available for Village of Key Biscayne residents only.  Please come to the Key Biscayne Community Center Front Desk (enter at 10 Village Green Way down the street from Village Hall) between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM any day of the week.
    • Bring with you proper proof of residency (see details below)
    • You may download the Beach Park Access Card Application (PDF file) and bring it with you, or fill out an application at the Community Center
    • Please allow 2-3 business days for new cards to be activated

  2. Proof of residency is required when applying for a beach access card.  A photo ID plus one of the following is acceptable as proof of residency:
    • Current vehicle registration certificate
    • Copy of current real property tax bill or deed
    • Certificate or letter from the Internal Revenue Service
    • Current utility bill

  3. Cards per Household: There is a limit of two access cards per household and proof of residency is required for each card issued.  A one person household may only receive one access card.

  4. Fees: There is no fee for the first access card(s).  There is a replacement card fee of $8.00 to deactivate a lost or stolen card and reissue a new device.
