Can non-Village residents use the Community Center or rent the facility?

Non-residents may use the Community Center or participate in programs if they are guests of a resident. Facility rentals are only available to Key Biscayne residents.

Can non-resident visitors on Key Biscayne use the Community Center?


Provide policy regarding hotel guests. Provide policy regarding individuals temporarily leasing or renting on the Key. Provide policy regarding guests of Village residents.

What is the Village's Tax Identification Number?

Who runs local youth sports programs?

The Village Parks & Recreation Department's Athletics Division oversees youth sports with assistance from several outside groups and volunteers. A comprehensive list of of annual youth athletic programs, registration periods, costs and season dates can be found at

Which facilities are available for birthday party or other private rentals?

The Community Center offers kids' birthday party packages as well as rooms that can be rented for private events (parties, weddings, performances, meetings etc.). Calusa Park is available for private parties on Saturdays and Sundays. Please call (305) 365-8900 and ask for the Assistant to the Director of Parks & Recreation. Rental rates and the availability of Calusa Park will be provided to you.

The Village Green is open to the public at all times and cannot be rented for private use. The Beach Park is open for resident use at all times and cannot be rented for private use.

What recreation classes, programs and activities does the Village offer?

The Village Parks & Recreation Department, including the Community Center, offers a wide variety of programs and activities. Current programs can be found at or call (305) 365-8900 for information.

How do I register for recreational classes, programs and activities offered by the Village?

Registration is available in person at the Community Center Front Desk at 10 Village Green Way or over the phone at (305) 365-8900.

I would like to file a complaint/concern/report concerning a park. How would I go about this?

You can file a complaint online using the service request form or contact the Director of Parks & Recreation Department at (305) 365-8900.

How can I find out if parks are open or closed or if athletic programs are canceled?

If the Village is experiencing inclement weather, check the website for updates or call the Community Center Front Desk at (305) 365-8900. Though parks are open, athletic activities or other programs are not scheduled on official Village holidays. They are posted online at the main Village website.

What transportation options are available for seniors?

Does the Village offer passport services?
