Save the Dates: Tuesday, February 15th - Saturday, February 19th

We are thrilled to share with you next steps for the Key Biscayne Vision Plan Workshop.

All Key Biscayne residents are encouraged to join us for a series of enlightening and lively discussions and presentations to shape Key Biscayne’s future beginning on Tuesday, February 15 (see calendar here).

We especially want everyone to join in person the evening of Tuesday February 15 at 6 pm, and for the Vision unveiling reception on the afternoon of Saturday, February 19 at 3 pm.

We need your active participation in daytime workshops from 11:30 am – 1 pm on February 15, 16, 17, and 18, which will focus on numerous ideas from the community’s robust engagement on SpeakUpKeyBiscayne.com. Now is when things start to get really exciting. We’ll dig into issues like safety and security, population growth, beach preservation and access and other topics impacting our village, such as protecting real estate values, optimizing village services, green spaces, redevelopment of our shopping corridor, and of course the number one concern, resiliency, flooding, and sea level rise.

We will stay in very close touch over the next four weeks with updates and more details, but wanted to reach out now to encourage you to mark your calendar to join us for this once-in-a generation opportunity to co-author the future of Key Biscayne. This is your time to meet one-on-one with and work alongside the Village’s new planning director, Jeremy Calleros Gauger and the esteemed team of DPZ CoDESIGN.

We look forward to seeing you at the opening presentation, the closing celebration, and the daily special-topic meetings as your calendars permit. Please encourage your friends, family and neighbors to come out on the 15th and 19th. And if you haven’t already, visit SpeakUpKeyBiscayne to take surveys and share ideas.

More soon – stay tuned!
