Basketball League   *2021-2022*
KB Basketball League is finally back! Fee includes a minimum of 8 season games, play-offs, uniform, and practice shirt. For more information please contact Jennifer Pema at JPHoopsLLC@gmail.com or call/text 305-775-0396.

  • Boys & Girls League season runs from November 29, 2021 - March 11, 2022, including a Play-off Championship. Skills & Drills clinics and evaluations (dates TBA) will be offered to get all players ready to play in the games.
  • Co-ed Beginner Skills season runs November 29, 2021 - February 25, 2022 (there are no play-offs)
  • Games and Practices: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
    • Location: KBCC Gymnasium, K-8 School courts, other courts TBD if needed.
    • Practices are 1 hour and will be scheduled once teams are formed.
    • Time slots are from 5pm - 9pm with the younger kids having the earlier time slots.
  • Mandatory Evaluations (SEE BELOW): All children must attend at least 1 evaluation and be registered and PAID before they get evaluated.
    • No evaluation required for Co-Ed Beginner Skills group, unless the child wants to be evaluated for league play.
    • Players are placed on teams by evaluations to create fair and balanced teams. We are not able to take special requests.
  • Registration is available from September 28 until November 13
    • Early Registration Discount of $35 is available until Wednesday, October 13 for the Boys and Girls Leagues (not applicable for the Co-Ed Beginner Skills)

* Age by September 1, 2021, 7 years old who have previously played may be evaluated for league play. 
* Age/ grade divisions will be based on the number of athletes registered and age/levels of kids playing. Kids will be placed in the appropriate level of play regardless of age. A high school league will be formed if there are enough players.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Registration is available at the KBCC Front Desk during operating hours. The following documents are required along with payment to complete the registration process.

  • VKB Youth Sports Registration Form
  • Code of Conduct Agreement for Players and Parents
  • Parent's Photo ID - acceptable forms of photo ID include a drivers license or passport
  • Proof of Residency - The following are acceptable as proof of residency:
    • Current utility bill (preferably an FPL bill)
    • Current vehicle registration certificate
    • Current real property tax bill or deed
    • Certificate or letter from the Internal Revenue Service
    • Leases are NOT accepted as proof of residency

Mandatory Basketball Evaluations - 2021
Everyone must attend one evaluation. Only one evaluation is needed, unless requested to attend a second evaluation.

  • 5:30-7 pm           Girls Ages 7-9
  • 7:15-9 pm           Girls ages 10 and above

  • 5-6:30 pm           Girls ages 7-9

Thursday November 11                KBCC Gymnasium
