Adult Trips Two Women ShoppingThe Community Center Adult and Senior Services Division offers affordable excursions to exciting destinations and events throughout South Florida. Adult Trips MorikamiSushi & Stroll at Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens

Experience and explore six distinct Japanese gardens, cold drink in hand. Sip craft sake selections that you might not find anywhere else in South Florida, indulge in Pan-Asian cuisine from Morikami’s Cornell Café (not included in admission price) and enjoy roaring taiko drum performances by Fushu Daiko.

John Pennekamp Glassbottom Boat Tour & Lunch

Enjoy an unforgettable glimpse into the serene undersea world in the comfort of the Spirit of Pennekamp. This 65-foot catamaran will transport you to the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, with its shallow reefs teeming with wildlife. A late lunch in Key Largo will follow the 2.5 hour glassbottom boat tour (not included in the admission price).

Miami Military Museum & Memorial

The new Miami Military Museum and Memorial is dedicated to saving and interpreting the rich military heritage of South Florida and honoring military service, sacrifice and accomplishment, and its importance to our community, to Florida and the nation. It presents the history of WWII in South Florida, including the heroic clandestine military activities of the Cuban Exile community of anti-Castro freedom fighters during the Cold War. It also examines Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan today, with a focus on Florida and especially Miami-Dade County.

Miami City Ballet: Slaughter on Tenth Avenue

Slaughter on Tenth Avenue and Richard Rodgers’ tantalizing Broadway score open the season with a bang in a 1930s speakeasy. Don’t miss this hilarious parody of hijinks and high kicks, gangsters and cops, in this ballet about the tap dancer and the impossible stripper he falls in love with. But watch out – her jealous boyfriend is the brutal Big Boss, and he’s hiding in the theater waiting for the moment to pull the trigger on the hoofer... will the police nab him in time?

Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash at Actors’ Playhouse
& Lunch on Miracle Mile

From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. Performed by five incredible actor/singer musicians who play 20 different instruments, this portrait of “The Man in Black” is a foot-stompin’, crowd-pleasin’ salute to a unique musical legend.
